Since it is summertime and the offroad racing series are on break, we get to do some motocross racing! Mammoth has always been an infamous national in the industry and one of the most fun. Nonetheless, our guys also come to compete at the highest levels with top competitors in each class. Cole Martinez went a perfect one, one on Saturday and two, two on Sunday. Mark Samuels got an eighteenth and an eleventh for eleventh overall, in the same thirty-plus Vet Pro Class.
Race Action
Cole Martinez had an amazing weekend racing the Vet Pro Class. On Saturday he got both holeshots and was able to hold on to the lead in both motos, resulting in the overall win. On Sunday he was able to get a holeshot in moto one but had a bike issue causing him to lose four positions. Once he got back going he was able to come back to a strong second place. In Moto two he got off to a second place start behind Josh Grant. They went to battle for all ten laps, ultimately leading Cole runner-up and second overall.
Mark Samuels was able to run near the top ten with a stacked Vet Pro Class. Once he was able to get a few good starts he was able to run pace and finish strong. Resulting in an eleventh overall.
