The SCORE International series in Baja California, Mexico is always the most challenging and rewarding race event of the year for the SLR Honda team. It’s been a consecutive 3-year run of going undefeated for 10 races in a row while repping the 1x plate in the Pro Moto Unlimited class, but all good things must come to an end. The SLR Honda team would like to formally announce they will not be competing in the following events; SCORE San Felipe 250 and SCORE Baja 500, but will be back for the SCORE Baja 1000 before handing over the 1x title.
With 30 Baja 1000 wins, Honda has dominated this race 22 out of the last 23 years, and SLR Honda has contributed to that success with the help of Mark Samuels, Justin Morgan, Justin Jones, and the support crews who made their way down for every race.
Although SLR Honda will not be chasing the SCORE championship this year, the team is excited and ready to take on the eleven-hundred mile 54th Annual SCORE Baja 1000 race in November (riders will be announced at a later date).
